This low-carb wonder bread gives you the\u00a0satisfaction of eating bread, minus the carbs.<\/p>\n<p>Made up almost entirely of protein, it\u2019s light and fluffy, but sturdy enough to bookend a sandwich or act as toast.<\/p>\n<p>Most cloud bread recipes call for eggs, cream of tartar (a natural thickener), and cream cheese. In our version of cloud bread, using Greek yogurt creates the best\u00a0texture.<\/p>\n<p>The sandwich-sized rounds\u00a0came out of the oven with a crisp exterior and fluffy \u2013 you guessed it \u2013 cloud-like interior. When stored overnight, they become soft and chewy.<\/p>\n<p>Cloud bread tastes faintly of egg, but if you add a pinch of salt, it tastes more like traditional bread. Set aside.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction\">\n<p>Separate egg yolks from egg whites. Place whites in a medium bowl. Place yolks in a separate medium bowl. Set aside.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction\">\n<p>Add cream of tartar to egg whites. Beat with a mixer on high until stiff peaks form, about 4 minutes. Set aside.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction\">\n<p>Add salt and yogurt to egg yolks. Beat with a mixer on medium until blended.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction\">\n<p>Gently fold \u2153 of egg white mixture into egg yolk mixture. Fold in the remaining egg white mixture until just incorporated, being careful not to overmix.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction\">\n<p>Using a spoon, transfer a scoop of egg mixture onto prepared baking sheet, gently spreading into a thick pancake shape about 3 inches in diameter. Repeat with remaining batter to make 3 cloud breads.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction\">\n<p>Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until golden brown and exterior is crispy to the touch.
